Design of the Wire
The design process for this wiring took over half a year, involving multiple prototypes, with the ultimate goal of creating a transparent, crystal clear wire. To achieve this, Litz technology was employed to minimize skin effect and proximity effect losses in conductors at frequencies up to approximately 1 MHz. The signal wiring consists of 39 strands of superfine Type 1 Litz pure silver 5N (99.999X) UPOCC, which was selected for its exceptional quality. This conductor is encased in a layer of fluoropolymer tetrafluoroethylene, chosen for its superior electrical properties and low dielectric constant of 2.1, which remains consistent across temperature and frequency variations. For shielding, a silver-plated high purity copper was deemed to be as effective as pure silver, and was used for its 100% coverage of the signal wire. The silver-plated 6N (99.9999X%) copper consists of 89 strands wrapped around the signal wire, yielding a total cross-sectional area of 15AWG. The individual strands are coated in an insulating enamel and are further insulated by a layer of silicone.
